With over 8 years of progressive and diverse experience of working with companies, both Fortune 500 as well as early age start-up, Ankur had the opportunity to work in various sectors namely, Banking & Financial Services, Knowledge Process Outsourcing, Human Resources, ITES and Industry association management.

Ankur has Masters’ in Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and has a Bachelors’ degree in Commerce (Hon.) from Delhi University. Ankur is a Program Manager & founding member of the pioneering HR Talks (web2.0 and social media initiative) team at National HRD Network (NHRDN) and Founder of a not-for-profit and volunteer driven action group, Chitrakaar.He writes the Virtual Learning blog and is a photography and social media enthusiast based in New Delhi, India.

As the Program Manager - HR Talks at NHRDN, Ankur was responsible to transform the earlier web presence and build from scratch, sustain and grow online HR communities using the power of web2.0 and digital media. The soft launch of HR Talks was done on 28th November 2008 at NHRDN’s 12th National Conference held in Chennai, India.

The inauguration of NHRDN’s online communities was done in March 2009 by Dr. B. L. Mungekar , Member, Planning Commission and Chairman, Steering Committee on Secondary, Higher and Technical Education for Eleventh Five Year Plan of Government of India.

In April 2009, Ankur launched the series of NHRDN Webinar with HR Thought Leader. The first ever webinar was privileged to have Aquil Busrai, then Executive Director – HR at IBM India & National President, NHRDN and NS Rajan, then Regional President - North, NHRDN and Partner, EMEIA People & Organization Leader, Global Leader - HR Advisory, Ernst & Young.

Over the year NHRDN Webinar have had a distinguished list of Global leaders and thinkers as the speaker for these virtual learning sessions and the number of participants has surpassed the 500 mark touching over 6000 professionals spread across over 30 locations in India and even outside. Previously, Ankur was Business Manager at PeopleStrong HR Services, a venture capital funded and leading HR Outsourcing Company in India also rated as emerging RPO Leaders from Asia by HRO Today magazine.

At PeopleStrong, Ankur managed and led the corporate marketing & communications initiatives and also was part of the business development team that was responsible for growing business across all service verticals.

He was instrumental in launching India Attrition Study – an initiative by PeopleStrong in partnership with Business Today. It was a first of its kind research study focused on understanding employee attrition in the Indian context and Ankur’s area of work included product development, branding, digital marketing and business acquisition.

Ankur focused on executing innovative marketing strategies leveraging the digital media and web2.0 technologies. His marketing interventions for the RPO vertical achieved successful results by creating an online community named Automobile2.0 (a focused online community of automobile and allied industry professionals) on LinkedIn and organized learning webinar with Industry thought leader for keeping the community engaged.

The first ever webinar for Automobile2.0 was organized with Ravi G Bhatia, Chief General Manager – Sales support of Maruti Suzuki (India’s largest automobile manufacturer).

Earlier, Ankur was part of the Business operations team at Wipro BPO Solutions. He spent around 4 years with the company joined as a process associate and then progressed as training assistant and then team lead. He also got the opportunity to work on process training, business process improvement and transitions initiatives.

At Wipro , Ankur managed the operations of an US based client (a global leader in the internet service space) and worked on various projects related to customer support, member services, retention and cross/up selling or products.

Ankur has Masters’ in Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and has a Bachelors’ degree in Commerce (Hon.) from Delhi University.
